Mohammed Bin Rashid Est. for Young Business Leaders, Australian Business Council ink MoU

June 28th, 2009: The Entrepreneur business Village, the Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment (MBRF) for Young business Leaders initiative to create an entrepreneurial hub in Dubai, today signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Australian business council - Dubai to expand and develop the emirate's small and medium business sector. The MoU was signed by CEO of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for Young business Leaders Abdul Baset Al Janahi and Chairman of the Australian business council - Dubai Adam Malouf.

"Small and medium businesses play a critical role in supporting economic development in the UAE and worldwide, and we believe this agreement will be mutually beneficial for both the UAE and Australian communities," Al Janahi said. "The partnership with the Australian business council - Dubai is part of MBRE's mission to foster an environment conducive to business growth. It will also create added value as well as competitive advantages that will help entrepreneurs to develop their projects." The cooperation between the Entrepreneur business Village and the Australian Business Council - Dubai will include the exchange of information and experience, the creation of a calendar for upcoming events and networking opportunities to connect the memberships of the two groups to new business opportunities.

Malouf said: "Our affiliation with the Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for Young business Leaders and the Entrepreneur business Village complements the strong economic relationship between Australia and the UAE. This partnership aims to improve the performance standards of small and medium business in the country, through providing the required support to effectively help drive the economic development in the UAE." The Entrepreneur business Village will provide business incubation support and mentoring help via the Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for Young business Leaders, while the australian business council - Dubai will encourage its members to join the village and become a part of its community.

The Entrepreneur business Village, a brand new purpose-built one million sq. ft. facility, is located adjacent to the Clock Tower roundabout in Deira. The Village is one of several initiatives from the MBRE to unlock and cultivate the immense business potential among entrepreneurial Emirati, Arab and resident populations, and provides a comprehensive array of services and facilities to drive business.
