May 29th, 2009: Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) today held a meeting chaired by Chairman HH Sheikh Majid bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Present at the meeting were Minister of State and member of the board of Dubai Culture Reem Al-Hashimi, Governor of the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC) and Managing Director of Dubai Culture Dr Omar Bin Sulaiman, Deputy Chairman of Dubai Culture and Mohammed Al-Mar and other members. At the meeting, Sheikh Majid stressed that Dubai Culture, under directives from HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minster of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, is sparing no efforts to establish and raise societal and corporate awareness of culture and arts as well as to encourage talents.

The meeting reviewed the achievements the Authority has made ever since it was set up last year. Sheikh Majid also hailed the efforts made by the Authority's staff members to reflect the cultural image of the UAE.
