Etisalat offers replacement SIM cards online and at customer's

June 22, 2009 (WAM): In its endeavour to provide efficient customer service and simplify application procedures for its customers, Etisalat today announced the launch of its online SIM card replacement service, through Etisalat online services portal - www.etisalat.ae/online. Etisalat will also home deliver the replacement SIM card, through an authorized delivery agent, free of charge, at the customer doorstep, adding another dimension to its promise of providing enhanced customer convenience. Etisalat customers can now replace their lost stolen or damaged SIM cards online, for both mobile prepaid (Wasel ) and post paid (GSM) accounts for just AED 25. Customers have the option to pay cash on delivery or through their credit cards, while applying for replacement through the online portal.

Commenting on this service, Khalfa Al Shamsi, Vice President, Consumer Marketing, Etisalat said," Etisalat aims to provide the most efficient customer service to enhance convenience of its customers. In this endeavour, we have been enriching our online services portal to provide maximum flexibility and hassle-free transactions to our customers. Now with the easy availability of replacement SIM cards online and home delivered to customer's doorstep, we have provided another time and cost effective mechanism to our customers to enhance their service experience. " In order to replace a SIM card online, customers need to register to the Etisalat online portal through an easy process. Customers already registered to the portal can simply use their Etisalat online services user id to order the replacement SIM card. The process of ordering is simple and takes only a few minutes for the customer. After the order completion, the system generates an automated sales reference number that can be used by the customers to track their order status.

Etisalat recently bagged the popular Dubai public vote, for the Best Customer Services Provider in Dubai. Organized by ITP, the award was one among the 'Best in Dubai' series. Etisalat was selected over many organizations for providing the Best Customer Service in Dubai.
