Dubai Police Academy holds graduation ceremony

November 20, 2008, DUBAI – 433 cadets graduating from the Dubai Police academy were awarded their certificates by Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai yesterday. The graduates were from the 16th batch of regular students and 17th batch of evening class students, reported Khaleej Times.

The function was attended also by Shaikh Hashr bin Maktoum Al Maktoum, Lieutenant-General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, Major-General Saif Al Shafaar, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Interior, and senior police officials. The graduates displayed marching and shooting skills and took the oath to remain committed, loyal and brave, and determined to protect the nation.

Shaikh Hamdan honoured the toppers of the two batches with medals and badges and distributed certificates to the new graduates from the UAE and various Arab countries.
