Dnata Switzerland wins Brussels Airlines Geneva ground handling contract

June 18th, 2009: Brussels Airlines has signed a three-year deal with Dnata Switzerland for ground handling services at Geneva, according to a press release by Dnata. Urs Zorn, CEO Dnata Switzerland AG, said: "We are extremely pleased to provide our comprehensive handling services to Brussels Airlines at Geneva. This marks what we are confident will be a successful partnership between two companies that are willing to seek change in a challenging environment." "The move to Dnata as our partner for ground services in Geneva is a key milestone for Brussels Airlines", says Jan De Leeuw, Vice President Ground Operations at Brussels Airlines. "In terms of commercial interest and number of flights, Geneva is the number one European airport served by our Company outside its home base Brussels.

The quality of service and the efficiency of our operation, have been major considerations in making a choice for Dnata Handling at Geneva. We trust that Dnata will live up to our high expectations and be a worthy and proud partner for us. In the end, it all comes down to delivering a continued outstanding service for the Brussels Airlines passengers at Geneva airport and we are confident that Dnata will help us delivering exactly that".

With effect from 1st July 2009, Dnata Geneva will provide the full range of services including check-in, baggage sorting and loading/offloading, aircraft cabin cleaning, general ramp handling as well as load control services, for up to six daily flights to/from Brussels.
