Jul. 2, 2009 (WAM) -- UAE Ambassador to Japan, Saeed Ali Yusuf Al-Nuwais, met here with the UAE national Jiu-Jitsu team participating in the international Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Championship in Japan. The UAE team has won four Gold, two Silver and three Bronze medals during the championship in which 800 contestants from 10 countries vied for honour. Al-Nuwais held in honour of the UAE sports delegation a luncheon attended by members of the diplomatic corps in Japan. UAE is the only Arab country being represented at the Championship.
