Jul.2, 2009 (WAM) -- Supreme Council member and Ruler of Ajman, H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, received at his office here today, in the presence of Ajman Crown Prince, H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al-Nuaimi, the Acting Director General of the Interior Ministry, Major General Rashid Thani Al-Matrooshi. During the meeting which was also attended by a number of officials from the Ajman Economy Department and directors of the civil defence departments in the UAE, they reviewed the strategic plans of the Civil Defence Headquarters, aimed at improving the latter's services in all the emirates of the country in accordance with the interior ministry strategy.

According to Major General Al-Matrooshi, he had briefed the Ruler about the future plans for the development of all civil defence departments in the country, improving the performance of their personnel and modernising their equipment to meet the challenges of their work.
