June 22st, 2009: Representatives of member states of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) next Tuesday will hold a meeting in Vienna to discuss security cooperation strategy, according to OSCE in a press release. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will adress the opening session of the seventh Annual Security Review Conference (ASRC) which will be held at Hofburg Palace, Vienna, on June 23-24th. The forthcoming meeting provides a framework for enhancing security dialogue and for reviewing security work undertaken by the OSCE and its 56 participating States.

The participants will discuss how participating States have worked together to address common security matters and new ideas for strengthening co-operative and comprehensive security, including proposals on how to enhance European security. ARSC was established by the OSCE Ministerial Council in Porto in 2002 to enhance the dialogue on security among the 56 participating States and to review the Organization's security work.
